Organised by Professional Development and Quality Assurance and Non-Communicable Disease Division of Department of Health, briefing session on “Alcohol Fails- Primary Care Practitioners can Make a Difference” was successfully held on 9th December, 2017 at the Lecture Theatre of 3/F Lam Tin Polyclinic. Speakers from the Department of Health talked about “Alcohol-related harms”, “Dispel/myth of alcohol”, guidelines and clinical application of alcohol screening and brief intervention. Social Worker form TWGHs “Stay Sober Stay Free” Alcohol Abuse Prevention and Treatment Service was invited as a guest speaker to share his valuable experience and the service provided by the center.
