People who get drunk for the first time before their fifteenth birthday are more likely to die prematurely than people who do not drink excessively or at least avoid getting drunk until they are older, a 27-year follow-up from four US cities study suggests. The study is funded by National Institute on Drug Abuse, including a total of 15,000 subjects who have been followed up for 27 years.
