According to the Injury Survey 2008, the most common main cause of injuries was falls (32.2%). It was followed by sprain (25.8%), sports (14.1%), hit / struck (8.7%) and cutting / piercing (8.5%). However, unlike the situation in other countries, there was no reported case of drowning / near-drowning, poisoning or electric shock in this survey.
